The Story of Splinter Press
Once upon a time, there were three siblings and their very short friend who all just happened to be authors.
“I write books!” they each said. During conversations with regular people. In unison. In their sleep. Across time and space. (It was a struggle. They are very awkward in most social situations)
But they liked each other’s stories. And they shared a love of speculative fiction. And they realized that their stories could all take place in the same universe and the Splinterverse was born!
Now they are gathering more stories and authors to bring into the Splinterverse, and just want to help authors of speculative fiction to make their stories the best they can be.
Splinter Press accepts un-agented submissions once or twice a year, and from these submissions already has several books from some amazing new authors in the works. All four of the original authors/editors participate heavily in every stage of the editing process for every one of our books, and we also have a small staff of intern editors who are invaluable to our Splinter Press family. If you are interested in joining our team as an editor, please email us at info@splinterpress.com.
I just finished your book. I could hardly put it down and found it both gripping and enjoyable! Once I started it, I didn’t want to stop. – Splinter’s Edge
Anne Bown (Boydell’s Mom)
I don’t usual review books I read, since tastes differ, but I will make an exception with this one.
I really enjoyed reading this sci fi adventure, so much that I read it twice. Once in Kindle, and again when I bought the paperback. – The Dissection and Reassembly of Cohen Hoard.
A. Erickson
This book was an exceptional read. The characters are fleshed out with real motivations and the locales are vibrant. What starts as a standard adventure story becomes a poignant discussion around what does it mean to live and the value of life and death. – Mere Mortal.
